Gemma Levy and Sadie Mank recently started Moio to provide a global platform for the beautiful work of Zimbabwean artisans. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic this past year, Zimbabwe has suffered a huge loss in tourism, which has devastated their economy and endangered the livelihoods of many of their artisans and craftspeople. Gemma, Sadie and the team at Moio decided that if the people couldn't make it to the product, they would bring the product to the people! Moio works with a group of artisans to design these beautiful bracelets and then, markets and ships them worldwide. Moio invests all proceeds back into the company so that it can expand the number of artisans involved.
